Understand the anatomy of the spine, hips, and pelvic floor as it relates to vestibulodynia.

• Learn all aspects of vestibulodynia: definition, causes, symptoms, psychosocial aspects, medical management options and physical therapy interventions.

• Incorporate a pelvic floor and an orthopedic physical therapy exam and treatment into your care for the vestibulodynia patient.

• Demonstrate proficiency in internal and external manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise interventions to the spine, hips, and pelvic floor.

• Create an appropriate medical team for your patient.

• Proceed with the patient who has reached a plateau and/or the discharged patient.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  In each NEURAC 2 course, you will learn new corrective exercises with lots of practical guidance from an experienced NEURAC Instructor to assess and treat neuromuscular dysfunction, core weaknesses and myofascial imbalances. Upon completion of each NEURAC 2 course, you will have a better understanding of the NEURAC method of neuromuscular re-activation and movement re-education, demonstrate safe and effective use of the Redcord equipment to identify and treat the cause of more complicated musculoskeletal conditions, and have a more comprehensive library of therapeutic exercises and treatment strategies available.  It is suggested that Stimula be taken last.

PRI Course

Course Information

This advanced lecture and lab course is designed to assist clinicians with those complex patients that are struggling to restore reciprocal function of their pelvis. The clinician will gain an appreciation for the influences of an asymmetrical pelvis and how this imbalance contributes to pelvis dysfunction. We will explore in detail the function of the pelvic inlet and outlet as it relates to anatomy, respiration, and asymmetry in a multiple polyarticular chain system. Participants will be able to restore pelvic and respiratory neutrality through a PRI treatment approach while keeping individual activities of daily living in mind.
