Danielle Peters graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science and Public Health and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University. She completed her residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and received board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Danielle brings a broad range of clinical experience to the One on One Team including orthopedics, sports medicine, post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, chronic disease/injury, pediatric athlete/dancer rehabilitation, vestibular and concussion therapy. She has extensive training in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, and Blood Flow Restriction Training. She has also earned her ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) credential for treating patients post-concussion. 

She grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida, and was a competitive, champion Irish Dancer. She competed from the age of 8 until graduating from Emory University. Having endured orthopedic injuries as a competitive dancer, she is passionate about helping others through their injuries and providing them the encouragement and tools that they need to recover and succeed. She is a proud assistant teacher at Atlanta Irish Dance by Burke Connolly, the premier Irish Dance Academy in Atlanta. In addition to teaching Irish Dance, she loves spending her free time with her husband, Cory, family and friends, and her Australian Shepherd mix, Tux. She also enjoys working out, dancing, reading thrillers/crime novels, and traveling.
