Project Description

“It gives me great satisfaction and fulfillment to provide my patients with the tools to regain their independence, achieve pain free movement, and live life to the fullest”
Originally from Michigan, Aretha received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Minor in Health Promotions from Michigan State University. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oakland University. Aretha underwent her pelvic floor training working with pelvic health physical therapists on clinical rotations and advanced training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute.
Aretha took an interest in pelvic health after witnessing many patients, friends, and family quietly dealing with symptoms associated with pelvic health conditions and seeing how it affected their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Her goal is to help all patients live a symptom free life through physical therapy.
In her free time, Aretha enjoys reading, cooking, taking walks, watching sports, boxing and spending time with friends and family.
